ISDN Stack Manager (ISDN SM)

Description: OpenSS7 Product Status ISDN ISDN LM

Overview:-

The ISDN Stack Manager is a daemon program that reads configuration files and configures the ISDN stack for operation. In addition, the ISDN Stack Manager is responsible for logging events and statistics and for performing routine maintenance on the ISDN stack.


History:-

This component was started in January 2003.


Status:-

This component is in the Design stage.


Dependencies:-

This component depends upon the Layer Management Interface to the various components of the OpenSS7 ISDN stack.


Design:-

Designs are not yet publicly available.


Documentation:-

Documentation is not yet publicly available.


Test Results:-

Test programs and results are not yet publicly available. When tests results are available, conformance test results will be available here, and performance test results will be available here.

Code:-

Code has not yet been released to the public. Source code is not yet available on the OpenSS7 CVS archive. The ISDN Stack Manager code should be publicly released with the next two major releases of the strss7 package.


Release Package:-

ISDN Stack Management is an integral part of the OpenSS7 STREAMS stack and can be found in the daemons sub-directory in the strss7 release code. Please see the Downloads Page for more information.
