OpenSS7 software licensed under the GNU Public License (GPL) Version 2 can also be licensed under the OpenSS7 Commercial License. Software that is licensed under GPL includes:

• OpenSS7 STREAMS SIGTRAN Stack Source Files
• OpenSS7 STREAMS TALI Modules Source Files

OpenSS7 provides most of its software under the GNU Public License (GPL) Version 2 as provided in the listing below, or under separate Commercial License. This model permits users to freely use the OpenSS7 stacks, but restricts combining the OpenSS7 stacks with proprietary software unless commercially licensed. Providing a commercial license in addition to the GNU Public License provides the OpenSS7 project with a source of funding to continue its development work.
